The Swisshearts Association
Swisshearts is a non-profit association founded on January 6, 2026, in Switzerland.
It was created in the aftermath of the tragedy that occurred on the night of January 1, 2026, in Crans-Montana, during the fire at the Le Constellation bar, in which many young people lost their lives and others were severely burned.
The purpose of Swisshearts is to provide direct financial support to families living in Switzerland whose child is hospitalized following this traumatic event.
Each stakeholder continues to fulfill the obligations for which they are responsible. The association acts as a complement, stepping in where immediate and human needs go beyond the usual frameworks.
All donations collected are entirely allocated to the families, in the form of reimbursement for justified expenses, in strict accordance with the association’s purpose.
Who we are
Swisshearts was created by people directly affected by the tragedy.
Several of our loved ones are among the young people who were severely burned and are now fighting in intensive care. Experiencing this reality firsthand quickly confronted us with the magnitude of the human, logistical, and financial challenges that families have to face.
The creation of Swisshearts arose from two observations:
• the absence of a dedicated structure to receive general donations in a centralized, transparent, and fair manner;
• the painful lesson that some individual fundraising campaigns had been misappropriated, undermining donors’ trust and solidarity.
We therefore sought to create a bond of trust between the public’s generosity and the real, urgent, and ongoing needs of the affected families.
Our values are at the heart of our actions:
• humanity and solidarity;
• dignity and respect for the families being helped;
• neutrality and independence;
• full financial transparency;
• ethical commitment in every decision
We know that no family could have imagined that such a tragedy would turn their lives upside down in a single night.
The hospitalization of severely burned patients will last for months, and their rehabilitation will span years. It is essential that their loved ones can remain by their side, today and in the future.
